Help - Broken Keyfob button.

The button for the alarm disable/enable on the keyfob broke in my pocket. I can get in the car with the key, but cant disable the alarm.

Ive taken the keyfob to bits and the button has broken off the circuit board, a little solder should fix it back on. There is a metal clip that came out of it, anyone know where this bit goes?

Failing that, Is there any way to turn it off until i can get to a stealers?

Re: Help - Broken Keyfob button.

Cheers M8. That link for Michaeld's Button Flip Key guide is a life saver.

Fixed it already, the button was a doddle to solder back on, needed girlie to hold it down tho. Then a bit of fiddling to get the clip back on and its as good as new, took a few attempts to get it right but its working now.

Thanks again

One intresting thing to note, if you let the alarm go off when the engine is running it stops flashing the hazard lights and sounding after a couple of mins. Embarasing tho :/
