Alfa 156 CODE

I recently done the ecu reset thing i.e. disconnect battery, reconnect, mar 90 off 90 leave 15 mins. After i done this each time i start the car CODE appears on the display. it might take 6 - 8 turns of the key for it to disappear. It never done this before hand. Also the key is fooked. The central locking button is depressed all the time, also seems someone tried to glue it together again lol. Main thing is to get the CODE off the display i can live with no central locking button lol

around the ignition barrel is an Antenna. This antenna connects to a code box which is behind & up over the fuse panel [ yellow or blue in colour ] it has 2 connector into it, unplug them for 15 seconds & re-connnect, that may fix the issue. if not then the antenna may need replacing

unplugged both connectors and plugged back in, seems to have done the trick. cheers for the help and info from previous post.... lets hope no one gets annoyed with the amount of posts ill be posting, just need to get the car right and ill be happy lol
