GT 3.2 car tax

Hi Guys,

I've tried searching Government websites etc, but I can't seem to get a firm idea how much 12 months car tax will be on a 2004, 2005 or 2006 Gt 3.2, maybe it's the same on all of them. If any of you guys with GT's from these years can let me know what you're paying, I'd appreciate it. Some places it looks like £450, others £250, like people are paying £250 a year for a M3 of similar age??

Also if anyone knows what year they put softer touch (matt)plastics in the dashes, that'd narrow my choice down. Maybe Gt's always had softer interiors unlike my 2001 156 which has hard door panels and dashes. I seem to remember my Brother's old 2002 147 had a soft touch dash so hopefully Gt had exactly the same.

Cheers

Cheers for the parkers tip, looks like pre March 2006 is £245 per annum, after that date it's £435. That work's out okay as I can only afford GT's up to early 2006 prices anyway.

That's correct. I think march 6th was the changeover date.

the £245 is a "temporary reclassification" of tax band so could go up to £435 if they decide to end that (doesn't seem that likely though)

Certainly a beauty, fully loaded, it being looked after by Autolusso is a real plus point (I use Jamie Porter as he's a bit closer, but bought some bits from Autolusso and was very impressed with their set up and attitude), certainly ticks every single box bar 2.

1, Daft but also serious reason is the colour won't go with my house.
2, More than I can pay, not that it's necessarily overpriced.

If I could have any colour I'd be going for Rosso GT's Red V6 with tan interior, it's a beaut, I've seen it at many shows and always thought I'd love to own it. Alas, due to the colour of our house, I have to keep it moody, so will be after Stromboli/ Lipari grey or Black. Saying that I have a bright yellow Lancia Fulvia, but that sits in the garage.

Funds in 4 weeks, can't bludi wait, a GT has been a long time coming!!
