Hi peeps,
Hoping you might be able to help.
I've got a catch twenty two situation. I'm trying to disconnect my flat battery to charge it, however as soon as I disconnect the earth lead the alarm goes off, from reading other threads I understand that the alarm has its own power supply, but I can't disarm it because nothing else works when I use the fob. If I can get the battery off I can charge it and try to find out what the underlying problem is, but I'm worried once I get the battery off I won't be able to shut the alarm up. Could I disconnect the battery then join the two leads together to create a circuit, would that keep the alarm quiet?
Can't jump lead it due to lack of another car to do so, (anybody in the Hampdon Park Stadium area of South Glasgow?)
Cheers for any help.
