I have a red alfa gt 3.2 v6 and was considering changing the alloy coliur to black.
I have seen this on a gta(3.7) in red and thought it looked good.
I have the std 17" alloy wheels.
Just wondering what you think.........dont want to cross the line into chav ville but think this change of colour could give the car a little mean look
I think it would look good!! I have a set of 18" gt q2 wheels in the classifieds section that are an anthracite/grey metallic. Have a look at them an see what you think.....
I think Anthracite is a better colour than black on a red car, when they get dirty black wheels look very ordinary. My neighbour has gloss black wheels on his Focus ST and although they look good when clean they quickly deteriorate with a layer of grime or brake dust. I photoshopped my red SW, see what you think. http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/gallery/showimage.php?i=18462&c=500
No think they are 17"s.
Now what to do!!
Get the existing 17's re coloured black, or sell the 17's and get 18s in black.
Not sure what you would get for a set of 17 alloys in good nick with a few light curb marks?
But that looks sweet in black!
Nice one mate; glad you`re pleased........
That`s the beauty of Photoshop, as you get to see what exterior mods can look like on your car..........without forking out the money first, only to find out you don`t like it once they`re fitted !
On a black car....depends on taste but for me prob
1. Anthracite(breaks up the colour)
2. black(for that mean stealth look)
3. White(wild card)
