hi,
i read somewhere that he Alfa GT head unit comes as standard with a MP3 player for CD's.
i have a GT 05 plate but im not sure if i have the funtionality... should my head unit have this function or was it introduced after 2005?...

Think the GT is the same as the 147.
My 147 Ti came with non MP3 head. Bought the MP3 version from the dealer and had it swapped out. Only difference visually was MP3 written above either preset button 5 or 6. When playing MP3's this button switches from scrolling through track title to scrolling through album title and artist.
I'm guessing if yours ain't got MP3 written there, it's a standard audio CD head.
Hope this helps.

Maybe you burned the MP3 CD the wrong way. Get Nero (software) and choose "Nero Start Smart". Then choose "Burn Jukebox CD". After that, a window shows up, where you can drag your MP3s to the list and then burn them on the CD. My Alfa Gt reads CDs made this way, so if yours doesn't, you probably don't have the MP3 head.

thats weird how some are mp3 players and others not but it states in the manual they have mp3... weird... but i guess it also states it has cruse control which i think is only a light that does nothing! lol
