Autodelta 2.0 Supercharged JTS...worth it?

Hello children, I've got a 2004 1.8 156 TI and I love it to bits. I got a excellent price on it. €4,500 with 67,000 miles and it is immaculate. Its perfect, it makes me very happy every time i get into it and I have no desire to change it.

However, it is a little down on power and I want more. Remaps and camshafts dont seem to get it above 155bhp which isn't exactly anything to write home about. I am seriously considering buying the 2.0 Supercharged JTS that Autodelta do. I would love a GTA but they are not practical as the cost of getting one over here would be prohibitive. I doubt I'd get a good one in for less than €12,000 plus insurance, plus €1500 a year road tax plus enormous fuel bill, etc

So my option seems to be this

Autodelta Shop

Advantages:
Brand new engine making it much easier to sell on.
Huge increase in bhp and torque
It'd keep the lighter JTS instead of the heavy V6 of a 2.5 V6
Retain the facelifted model
Relatively inexpensive

Disadvantages:
Fuel economy
No V6 sound
...?

What other upgrades would it need? I dont think the suspension needs much tweaking as the TI has a sports supsension and seems capable of handling much, much more power. It is the most planted car i have ever driven and will not understeer no matter what.

Brakes, clutch, Q2, etc? What will be needed and does anyone know what Autodelta supply other than the engine.

Oh yeah, and what would happen my old engine? Do they buy it off me or would it be up to me to sell it on?

hello mate autodelta dont supply an engine thats the cost of a supercharger, plus your car is a 1.8, and produces around 140 bhp, you might get 190 bhp if you are lucky. lot of money when you can get a V6 for next to nothing

:( - thats a bit embarrassing and an incredible downer. I assumed the way the ad was worded that it was an engine with the supercharger. £4,000 for the super charger on its own seems like an awful rip off. I know its probably a niche product and low volume but that is a huge price.

I know the V6 is cheap but they are old generally and pre facelift which is looking pretty dated by now. It also doesnt come in TI spec which is by far the best looking and handling. I hear the v6s are very heavy and dont handle as well as the 4 cylinder.
