How do you remove it?? I have a 2001 2.0 TS and am trying to change the oil cooler due to pinholes in the old one.

So far have drained coolant and oil, removed oil filter, undone the bolt thing that the filter screws onto, and removed the clips on the flexi pipe. Because the flexi pipes are so short, I cannot seem to move the oil cooler from the engine side (need to push towards flexi pipes). Is there a special trick to getting these off??

Thanks for the info ... managed to get it off once I cut the flexi pipes with a razor blade. Don't think this has been moved in a while, because the pipes were almost welded together with built-up crud. Anyway, I already have spare flexi pipes, so this wasn't that much of an issue.
There is one big problem with the replacement though ... my car uses the 1D, but the replacement is a 1A ... if you don't know what I mean ... the difference is the pipes coming from the cooler. A 1D spec's pipes are bent at a straight 90 degree angle, whereas a 1A has the same bend but also bent at roughly 30 degrees to the side. Is the 1A from a different engine/car??
