Hi
I have a `06 GT jtd with with BOSE. The radio unit is a Alfa 937 High.
My problem is that the volume often is ajusting itself. It can go from low to very high and vice versa. I'm aware there is a function called SVC that makes it possible to automatically adapt the volume level to the speed of the car. But this function is excluded from the Bose system according to the Owner's Manual. I can't see SVC in the radio menu.

Anyone have a clue to what is the cause to this behavour?
It's driving me crazy:cry:

I have this problem also !! check out my thread on the Ice Blue&Me forum.. which is where this should be really!

I think its a problem with the amp/SW unit in the boot. As I just recently swapped out my head unit for a new pioneer double DIN unit and I still have the volume issue.

Tonight I'm going to look at the wiring to the subwoofer/amp in the boot. I suspect its maybe got a loose earth or faulty wiring !

Where in Norway do you live? ... just curious as my brother lives in Hokksund near Drammen!

Cheers

Stuart

Oh, I just posted it here, since most GT owners read this section :)

I have the bose system but the auto volume still works on mine which is an 05 plate GT. If you go into menu and scroll up or down you will eventually come across the SVC setting and just set this to off and your volume should stay at the same level . Hope this helps.

I doubt that :) Like I said in the start, according to the Alfa GT Owner's manual, the SVC setting is excluded from my Bose system. I have no mic, no SVC setting in my radio menu and believe me, I have looked:)

What radio unit do you have. The Alfa 937 or the Navi unit? Do you have a mic near the handbrake?
