Firstly, gearbox oil. The handbook specifies Tutela Car ZC 75 synthetic. Shop4Parts has Tutela Car Technyx & Tutela Car Matryx 75W/85. Which one should I use?
Secondly, silly question, can the service indicator be reset using Alfadiag?
Hi!
From what I know, You can not reset the service indicator using Alfadiag.
What I find strange though is that there is no sequence of pushing buttons available/not known yet to reset.
It would be very strange if You are forced to go to the dealer to use examiner to do this.
If you have a facelift the service indicator can be reset by pushing buttons (it is a EU requirement that you can do this).
By using the information panel scroll through until you get to the service indicator section - then press the + and - buttons at the same time for (I think) about 10 seconds - the service indicator will reset to approx 12,500 miles.

I know of no way by just pushing buttons on the dash. Apparently the latest version of FiatECUScan supports service resets via an ELM327 interface cable.... but I can't get it to work on my GT JTDm.
It connects to the ECU OK and says the task of resetting the sevice is completed, but the indicator on the dash still says 'Distance to service 0 mls'.
I've asked the question on the bugs forum, I await a response.
All the best
