Hello everyone, this is probably one of the stupidest questions you alfisti have ever come across, but I have to ask it. How do I get the trip computer to show me average fuel consumption? I have the car manual, but it's quite thick (both meanings ) and there's no "contents" section and pages aren't numbered (in the czech version anyway; at least there are some beatiful colored pictures in it), so one has to scroll through it like an id..t. I've found some instructions, regarding the onboard computer, but the instructions were in the form of a graphic with symbols and buttons I couldn't find on my GT... Is it possible, that my GT 2.0 Jts Selespeed doesn't have this option?
On my GT, if you press the button on the end of the right hand side stalk, (as paullec says) you scroll through the trip comp. functions, & average mpg is in there.
I played with it a little (don't worry, I get the joke :lol and based on the onboard computer, my current average consumption is 11,9 L/100 km, or 19,7 mpg :wow:. Rather poor fuel consumption. Maybe I should slow down a little, occasionaly .
Nothing has slowed my driving down as much as this fuel consumption readout.
These days I don't bother using it.
