Absolute confusion re: MAF sensor

OK, there seems to be an abundance of MAF related threads on here and on AO, all the part numbers are confusing the hell out of me though.

Ive got a 156 1.8 TS (2000) and Ive got flat spots all over the place. I unplugged the sensor and hey presto, no flat spots. I got quoted £81 for a new MAF sensor from CAS but from what Ive read, bosch uses the same sensor in lots of difference MAFs in lots of difference cars. Obviously, I would like to get the cheapest but dont know where to start.

Ive had a look for the part number on my sensor but to no avail, will try undoing the torx screws again and having a better look later though. The numbers that keep coming up are..

F 00C 2G2 030
0-280-218-019
and
46541253

From what I can gather, some are the Bosch part numbers and some are the OE part numbers?

What Im trying to find out is what is the cheapest sensor available and what the part number is? Also where to order one from and which car it was made for so I know what to ask for?

All very confusing.. any ideas?

Im doing that but my head is spinning with all the numbers.

All I want to do is to find out which cars use the same sensor as mine, if theyll work OK in my car and where I can buy the cheapest one. Sounds very simple to me but like many other things, it seems a bit more complicated when it comes to finding out.

To clarify things a bit, the F 00 number is the Bosch part number for the sensor itself. The 00280 number is the Bosch part number for the sensor c/w the plastic tube it fits in. The 465 number is the alfa part number for the sensor c/w tube.
