I'm planning on doing the ECU / Throttle reset and i am admittadly stuck at the first step, getting the battery unplugged. looking at it the fuse box or computer is blocking one side of it. Do i need both sides off or just the one i can see? Never unplugged a car battery before, is there any precautions i need to take or any good technique?

Ta!

You should get away with just taking off the negative. If the set up is similar to the 147, that little collection of connectors attached to the positive will come away after you have undone two screws which hold it all to the top of the battery.
