With it being such a hot day yesterday and just in time for Brooklands decided to re-do my brake calipers. Thought id leave them black as before with white Alfa Romeo scripting but this time lacquer them as well a silly mistake i didnt do last time! and i have to say the look really glossy so Iam well chuffed - no pics as its ******* down here but happy they are done for Auto Italia.

I finished painting my front calipers yesterday too.
The laquer had been chipped away, and whilst I'd love them to be powder coated, the cost, and the car being off the road, are not viable at this time, so I prepared the old caliper face, and brush painted. I'm more than happy with the results, although the red is brighter and will take a while to get used to. Going to order the script stickers later. It's nice when these little jobs work out:thumbs:

Good work mate - I did exactley the same as mine had chipped of due to no lacquer and countless jet wash sessions lol, iam not usually that great on anything hands on but as you said I am pleased with the results. Plus it makes the whole wheel area look so much tidier and fresh! and hopefully will last a year or 2 :thumbs:
