Okay lads we know the previous history of my car since February it now appears that the MAF has decided to throw in the towel and the Fuel gauge has joined in the fun as well. Which involves the whole of the instrument cluster! The misses is having a right good laugh(and the all knowing "I told you so moments are starting to grind"). So I think my solution is this, We all know that our cars are works of art so I am going to get a very large picture frame and build it around my car so that I can look at it every day it's not as though I need to drive anyway thats what her car is for. By the way any ideas on costs for these items and ideas as to causes for failures of either or both because I am really beginning to feel despondant about the whole thing. I really set my heart on the idea of Alfa ownership and was prepared to deal with the financial costs but for this to happen now Im not sure( I am not knocking Alfa but why so many gremlins and why pick on me???). :(

How much more can go wrong???
Plenty!

Wishbones
Electric Windows
Wind noise
Broken Door Handles
Wipers
MCSF Errors
Rusty wheel bolts
Dash creaks
Water in front footwells
Parking sensors

and if you had a JTD

EGR
MAP Sensor
Inlet Manifold/Swirl Valves
Turbo/Intercooler hose

however, you could be unlucky and get a bad one ;)

All the best

Thanks for the replys boys, Wind noise doen't bother me I rode bikes for years any one remember a little Yamaha called a RD500LC V4 Yep had 3 of them. Suspension has just been replaced with KWv3 so thats spot on silicone will cure water in foot well and if its anything like a VW Passat you could hold an Olympic competition in one of those belive me , Don't have parking Sensors so Im grateful for that OOP's bump so I suppose I am lucky after all eh.
The car has been fitted with an Autodelta induction thingymebob don't know the technical term and it has it's own filter I think. Got a MITO off Benfield to drive around in and was told by Chris (very nice man) to give it some welly heheh so got to do a run upto Edinbrugh tonight so Im looking forward to that would rather have my GT though!!
