I currently pay around £125/month for insurance of my '04 156 2.0 JTS. I'm 29, in full time employment, with clean license and live in London (zone 5); now, considering all that, does the premium seem high to you? I've started thinking I'd need to shop around for a better one.
Wow makes me glad i live in north east ..........
It might be a bit cooler up here but a damn site cheaper as i pay 280 quid a year fully comp for me n the missus.
I am the wrong side of 40[just] but that sounds dear i guess its just another case of because you down there they can take your eyes out.
Have you got points or have you just passed your test?
Come up here n save a fortune.....
oh should mention that is only tpft and i do have 3 points too, from a stupidly placed mobile rob dog camera, 3 points for doing 35 mph such a waste
Whoops, sorry guys, just checked my statements and the monthly premium is actually £139.76/month got confused with my car loan; guess I really need to do something about it.
That does sound excessive Mark i'm sure you could get it under a grand at least if you shopped around. I pay just touching £500 for the 3.2 GT which i consider excessive when you consider i am 46 and the car sits on the drive all week and does 6000 miles a year max !, but there again it does have a ridiculous sized engine so i must be paying a premium for the smile on my face . Keep searching...
35 years old living in Warwickshire, clean license, 6 years no claims, accident 2 years ago but not at fault. For my 01 2.0 Ts I pay £260 pa. I thought mine was expensive. Your premium is way too high!
