Hi I have been running my 156 vr for around 30 mins on idle and only the fan on the drivers side is working .Could anyone be so kind to help me get them both working because my temp keeps fluctuating and returning to normal almost instantly going from 100ish back down to 90 . I have heard there is a bypass or something I can do to get them both working as a temperary thing .Please help many thanks

Each resistor has two 1/4" spade connectors.

I think you have seen the upper resistor, I'm sure the other is at the bottom of the housing.

For each resistor, if you remove the two spade connectors and connect the wires together, when the ECU calls for the low speed fan it will run at full speed, when the ECU calls for full speed it will still run at full speed as normal.

The fans will not run all the time, the resistors just reduce the fan speed, they don't turn it on or off, that is controlled by the ECU via relays.

Hi I have got the fans both working but the car is still having temp fluctutions .The rad was changed 3 years ago as was the thermostat .Its fine at normal sppeds but when accelerating it get up to three quarters and quickly returns back to 90 when I slow down .On idle it stays at 90 all day and at a constant 60 in 6th gear its the same a constant 90 . Should I pop new water pump on or should I try a thermostat first . Many thanks again for all your kind help
