I just got a 156 1.8 TS Veloce last week and I seem to remember someone saying that they came with the sportpack option but how would I know for sure?

I also remember something about the veloces having orange dials or that they glow up orange and I dont think mine do, that makes me wonder if it is acutally a veloce?

Again how would I know?

The pre 2001 sport pack has black/orange gauges, side skirts, 16" alloy wheels, lowered suspension

Sportpack is the same as veloce, the name was changed in 2000

Orange on black dials, 16" tele-dial wheels, lowered suspension, carbon effect dash trim and side skirts are the give aways.

Trouble is most of that can be easily changed ... and often are

Early Sportpacks had Eibach or Reina springs. Try cleaning the spring to see if you can find the part numbers. e g the original lowered Eibach springs are black with white lettering.

Or you could go the eper site and enter your vin number.

That should make the model type come up.

eper site?

I thought the advert said that it was a veloce but after checking again, it appears that it didnt.

I dont have black with orange dials, pretty sure I dont have fancy skirts, Ive got aftermarket wheels so cant tell from them, Ive been told by an alfa specialist that he thought that someone had sprayed the center console so its hard to say. Im thinking that its not, the car doesnt look as if it sits very low either. I was under the car today as I had to cable tie the undertray up as it was scraping on speed bumps and the springs did look black, that could have just been dirt from the road though lol

Would be nice if it did have the eibach springs, sadly I dont think it has though.

Whats this site all about then?
