Why can't I see any engine stuff with FiatECUscan?

I have just tried to connect my laptop using rarebear's brilliant cable (thanks by the way) with fiatECUscan.

Car is an 05 JTS 156. I can read the airbag faults (which is what I bought the cable to investigate) and can see ABS stuff - but have no engine info. I'd like to review milage and one or two suspected very infrequent faults which I am hoping have been trapped - but can't see anything to interrogate this?

TIA for any support you can get me.

That is the same list as in the sw - my Q was how do I check what my ECU is, unless you are telling me that the 02 JTS is the only year of manufacture supported by the sw? I took the 02 JTS tag to be anything 02 and beyond.

If that is the case anyone know of a diag package that will do an 05 JTS?

Oh and I meant by my previous posted Q where do I confirm the ECU physically fitted to my car? Where can I find it written on the car/manual etc?

If you look in the list the JTS ONLY supports the ABS and Airbag ECU's (the other cars have Bosch Motronic xxxx) ... you're going to need AlfaDiag for your ECU

OK - just realised that the JTS model doesn't have any engine ECU options (noticed this by reviewing a few other models).

So, does Alfadiag do the engine ECU for an 05 JTS? Any other options?

edit - just seen some posts pointing me in this direction. Thanks folks for allowing me to be so thick.

As yours is EODB compatible you can use any EODB software to read the engine ECU (pretty sure that there as some free ones out there ...)
