I need new lower wishbones for my 147. I have heard everywhere not to get the cheap ones from ebay as they are rubbish and will need replacing after about 5000 miles.

I have found genuine lower wishbones for £103 each which sounds quite expensive to me. EB spares sell some for £68 each. Would these £68 wishbones be cheap rubbish ones or will they last?

Basically, i dont want cheap crap but £206 quid for two lower wishbones seems a bit pricey to me.

Cheers

Mike

Well having got ebays on my 155 and EB's on my 156 I can assure you both types are fine and don't wear out after 5000 miles. The ebays have done about 60,000 and the Eb's 10,000 so far! Yes that still seems a little pricy as my indi quotes about 180 for genuines all in

Got my last pair from EB Spares ... changed them around 18K ago and a quick check at the weekend shows they are holding up well. I normally order all my suspension parts from them as they are
(a) cheaper
(b) deliver next day if in stock and
(c) never argue if something does go wrong (upper wishbone ball-joint cover split once after a couple of months)
