Stalling underload

Over the last few days it's happened a couple of times now. When I've been going for it the car cuts out asif I've stalled it. Also I recently changed my thermostat and the temp still only sits at 70, which must be the reason for my poor fuel economy.

Any ideas?

Could be the crank sensor. Does it restart ok, or does it have to cool down a bit first?

My temp gauge reads low as well, but the temp that the ECU reads is ok according to AlfaDiag. I guess it's the sender, but I've not bothered changing it...

No it starts first time, all the time.
