GT Airbag light Showing RED on Dash :rolleyes:

Hello Guys,

I need help, and would like your advice.

I was out this weekend with my girlfriend, and we thought we would 'Christen' the new GT. (The backseats are comfortable for two)

After we had finished it was time to head back home......

Turn the Key and started the engine........The Famous RED Airbig light came on!

Can anyone please tell me why this would come on? and how to remove it?

I do remember my foot being jammed behide the passenger seat for some time?

Could I have unplugged a cable? or is this a normal light to see?

The car had it's engine off the whole time.

You must have kicked like a mule !!! the infamous connector in the
passenger seat maybe ?
anyway.. reset must be done with a computer (Examiner or Alfadiag)

Hold that Software and cabel Idea!

I just got under the seats of my GT and pulled the plugs of the cabels apart and reseated them firmly.

The light of the AIRBAG has stopped showing on the dashboard.

The Light has gone out!

I think I fixed it......Can it be that easy?

you have a newish Alfa the old ones (pre 2003) did not reset automatically !! you are lucky !!
