very fine rattle when cold

Hi al. when i start my 156 2.00 tspark in the morning i get a fery soft rattle from the engine but as soon as she warms a little it goes away. she is very smooth and quiet after that. uses very little oil, does not smoke performes well etc. is it anything i should worry about?

How many miles has it done??
It could be the start of variator rattle, or just a tappet pumping up. When did you last change the oil?? Make sure you use decent stuff, with a new filter.
Wouldn't worry until it sounds like a black cab.
