Average age
As i come from quite a different car scene, i was wondering what the average age of an Alfa owner is. Previously the average age was quite low. I'm just curious what it is in the alfa scene.

I'm 26, but my poll already shows already what i expected. A more mature audience here (Ever went to a forum full of Fast and Furious wannabees? )

Quite a nice poll (although it's my own) , it's strange to see that each brand must have a marketing strategy that attacks a different age group.
For the curious ones, i was a Honda owner before.

I have my own theory....
I say Alfa drivers are generally older, because Alfa's break down....
Honda's tend to go on for ever and ever and ever, so young gary boys can eventually buy them and mod them and feck up Honda forums.
Alfa's however are more often bought new, and thus bought by older customers, simply because they don't last that long and are crappier cars than Hondas (reliability-wise)!!
How about that !???

I'm surprised although because i'm used to a lot of flaming on other brands

I'm 34 so I bring the average up a bit. wink
They did a similar thing on scoobynet and the average age of scooby drivers was quite high. Suspect thats an insurance thing though.
Alfa's are still not in the Saxo/Nova/Corsa insurance scale though so I would have thought the majority of Alfa owners would be 25+
I still find it astonishing that some of the younger guys pay out £3000+ on insurance. eek!
When I was 19 I had a 320bhp Turbo 4X4 Sierra and only paid £550.

Coming saterday I will be 26. I drove in a company car, Volvo s40 2.0 European Sport edition, untill I decided to work for the Department of Defence. So I had to buy my first own car, choosed for the AR 147, and still enjoying her.
