Eibach lowering kit sold out....
Like i mentioned before i ordered a Eibach Pro-Kit for lowering my 147 . Today after 2 weeks waiting , i heard they are still not available . Even worse , they don't have them at Eibach neither ... i have to wait until the next production starts . They told me next week the production is on again and then maybe 1 week later i can have them... pfff long waiting ...

Pyros,
Have you considered trying other kits like H&R, Sachs, or Novitec, or Auto Delta? I have Eibach on my 156s and I'm not all that impressed. I rode in a friend's 156 with H&R springs, his car seemed better sprung with better ride quality, less bouncy characteristics.
I've own two cars (156 and Nissan 200SX) with Eibach springs installed, and I've never been impressed. I have had better experience with H&R springs in Mitsu Eclipse, Honda Integra, and Volvo V70.
In fact, I'm about to replace my Eibach+Koni set up with Sachs kit tomorrow! I can't wait, I've been told Sachs is also quite good on 156.

Yes , i went around on all forums looking for what kit they have and their experiences . First i didn't want a lowered car , so lowering without you noticing it . Most other manufacturers are 40 or 45 mm , so thats to low for me , Eibach is only 30 mm , much better . Second i wanted to look at some pic's and i found some of 147 with the Eibach's , nice , lowered but not lowlow . Thirth most off them are very happy with Eibach's . So that was a made dicision , Eibach it was going to be . Now it's waiting and waiting ... I hope i have them before i go on holiday ...

Well, it's good to hear Eibach works well for 147. IMO, 156 seems better suited with H&R after having tried both Eibach & H&R with stock dampers and 17" wheels.
Sachs kit is also 30mm lower, like Eibach. If it's any lower, my spoiler will be even more short-lived. Will let you know how Sachs work out for me!

Wisrute,
Which Sachs are going for ? The Performance Kit ?
Here in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) the kit I mention is still not available. Have to order from Singapore ! By the way How much do you pay for those Sachs in Baht, just would like compare the pricing.
I am on eibach springs and stock shocks. The ride is getting bumpy nowdays. Need to change shocks and I prefer to hold on to my eibach springs. Any suggestions ? I assume you have installed the sachs, pls share your experience and which type did you bought?
Thx.

Amran</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Sachs kit I bought is the springs(black)+shocks(red) kit. It costs about 35,000 baht (marked up due to low supply and high demand) while a similar Eibach kit (manufactured by Sachs also) costs 38,000 baht. The previous kit I had with Eibach+Koni cost around 32,000 baht.
I'm still evaluating Sachs, but initial feedback tells me that it is just has firm (very firm) like Eibach+Koni set up, but it's not as harsh. Both sets lower the car about 30 - 35mm. So if you ask me now, I'd reccommend Sachs.

I ordered the Eibach Pro System for my 156. It comes with the Eibach springs and Eibach shocks that are AFAIK made by SACHS but tuned by Eibach for their springs.
I will get the car in July so I cannot comment on the performance.

Abyss, the overall height of the car is about the same as Eibach+Koni set up, and the height difference between left and right is gone (or less noticeable). As I mentioned above, Sachs is better than the previous set up at negotiating uneven surfaces while retaining composure in corners and high speed.

It seems to have better ride quality than Eibach when I compared both of them on OEM dampers.
If you've already bought Eibach+Koni, check out my suspension review

wisrute, I am not sure which one you bought. The sachs kit you purchase is it the Performance Kit. Here, there are different types of sachs kit. But the price is a little bit cheaper here (incl. installation).
I bought the eibach springs just 2 months ago ! Well need to decide to go for Eibach shocks or the sachs full kit....
p/s any info on Bilstein dampers ?

Distributorship has changed hands a few times over a few years period. A few 156 owners have been waiting for their dampers since the beginning of the year.
