Window seals

What products are others using to protect/revive the look of the rubbers around the 147 windows. My 147 is not very old but the rubbers look a little jaded already - nothing major but there must some kind of product which can look after them.

On another note, I applied a coat of AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection (AutoGlym NZ Premium Car Care Products) to my car today - what an amazing result - it is very shiny (showroom shine again!). If you put a dry towel on the hood it just slides straight off! It really does feel very smooth and is supposed to help rain water sheet off and aid future cleaning. Winter is just around the corner

Well you could try Autoglym Bumper gel which is suitable for use on Rubber window seals.
There is also autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care but I have never used it

Jono, I'm not sure what to use on the window seals either, but AutoGlym products should do a pretty good job.

If you want to keep that shine for months, try a coat of Meguire's Gold Class Paste Wax on top of that. I've been using this combo (AutoGlym Super Resin Polish + Gold Class wax) for years, it's great. At most, I need to treat each car three times a year to keep it shiny. wink

As these are franchises they stock a set range of products.
The Melbourne stores stock Autoglym so the Sydney ones should as well. If a particular item is not available then you should be able to order it.
