ConnectNAV+ Software and Language Updates

Hi all,

I am looking for the software update for the Connect NAV+ software, as well as the language CD. I have found one already, but it seems to be a french version, and I am not sure if I will end up with french software. On a related note, I am looking for the "Language CD" - something the car asks for when I try to set "english" as the voice recognition language -- my italian is not very good....

Can anyone help?

Hi Martijn,
About the update Cd being French.. Don't worry, after the update you won't end up with a french version wink
I updated mine, and when finished, the system was Italian..but after changing the language in the tripcomputer menu, everything was back to normal..
Can't help you with the "language Cd" part, sorry frown

Yeah, got the update working just fine!! This also sorted out the voice recognition issues - it wanted the satnav CD to get the voice files in english....

Now the fun can start - next weekend I will be removing the unit to look for a serial port - vxWorks - the software that runs the system, supports telnet and rlogin etc. I am looking for the SDK of vxWorks, so I can.... play....

And also-- Ivo, I am dutch, but live in the UK.... ;-)

Cheers,

Martijn

Sparki, I will let you know when I've read the Manual myself (only got it a few days ago), I have figured out everything except the Voice stuff without the Manual like you, When I press my 'phone' icon at the moment I get an Italian lady so if I 'interrupt' the call, she says 'interupzioni' or something like that.

So I will read the whole book. If I can find a scanner I'll scan the pages concerning Voice Recongition in from the manual and pass them on. The Manual is quote a lot of pages so I cant do the whole thing.
