147GTA in Evo magazine

Has anybody seen the March edition of Evo.There is a shootout between it and other "drivers cars".Evo said this "Several aspects of the Alfa could hand it victory before its even turned a wheel in anger. One is its hormonally charged presence, its an achingly pretty car.Not to mention the neo-supercar bark of its quad cam 24valve 3.2 litre V6".It came an honourable 4th behind Seat Leon, scooby Impreza and Golf R32.

Are there any drawbacks on the 147GTA? Evo should have sufficient reasons why the 147 GTA is placed 4th. They provided their arguments why the NSX-R won their Car of The Year award in the last issue, right?

I haven't seen this March issue yet, have to wait a bit more before it arrives at the opposite end of the planet!

I suspect price would be an importanf factor.

Bang for dollar/Baht/Pound the Cupra R would give the Alfa "a run for it's money"
The Cupra R is about 17000 pounds which I believe is cheaper than a 147 TS 2.0 selespeed let alone a GTA

Here in Thailand, there's no 147GTA, and no Cupra R. But a Scooby Impreza Turbo costs about the same as 147 2.0 Selespeed. Personally I'd take the 147 GTA if money was not an issue!
