</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">i think it's because semi synth is not as thin as fully synth oil, so it doesnt "burn" that easily. my cousin once had an old lada, it used to burn so much oil that he had to use straight 40W oil so that it wouldnt burn so much! eek! (40 is VERY thick btw, AFAIK!!)
