Re: Broken middle Armrest, what price ?

mine is a broken latch clip on 2001 model 147. i have seen a 2003 model and it is completely different (i think 2 side clips instead of a single central clip). i asked at one place how much it would cost to replace mine (because i generally drive with the armrest up and because it's broken, the top flap falls back onto the back seat) and i was told they're not available any more but if they were it would cost me $1800 australian dollars! obviously i wouldn't pay that anyway but the chances of finding my colour, grey leather, from the same year, for cheap is quite slim. i've thought about supergluing it but so far i've just made do with an alfa red rubber band to hold it together.
