Help A bit of help

Hello,

I am thinking of buying a 2006 Alfa 147 1.9 JTDM and i need a little bit of information. Maybe somebody on this forum can provide some information i need.

1. the mileage meter on the car keeps blinking. Why is that?
2. is there any way to verify whats the real mileage of the car, and if the meter has been tampered with?
3. the GPS navigation system on board is missing the required CD? Any ideas on where i can buy it?
4. what are the things i should pay attention when buying an Alfa 147 (potential problems etc)

Thanks in advance for your time and useful info.

Re: A bit of help

1. dont know, but i would be suspect about that
2. not really, just checking mileage relates to condition (guess work tho)
3. dealer will defo have it, maybe ebay ?
4. Cams done, service history etc, nothing out the ordinary. if your not confident get help looking over it

Re: A bit of help

1. Believe it indicates a fault. Hopefully someone will be along to help. Have you done a search as there have been posts on this before.

Update: search on 'proxy alignment'.
