Help What should I look out for..??

Hi there I off to view a 156 V6 tomorrow & was wondering what to look out for when buying this model any info would be great this would be my first 156 but not an alfa as I own a 146ti.

usual buying a car checks, cambelt etc, check the thermostat is working ok, make sure the engine sounds good, not like mine which sounds like a diesel at tickover, take it for a drive, and drive it hard you'll be sold, just like i was, just dont buy the first one you see there could be a better one for the money out there

i should really take my own advice sometimes

clonking or creaking front suspension, indicates worn front wishbones, drop links and ARB bushes.. all of which are expensive (300 in parts alone) to fit.
