Privet, T.P.!

Gasoline is OK and still cheap - around $0.35 per litre of 98 RON

T.P, That's half the price of Finland. I had no idea it was so cheap. Next time I'll bring my car or a couple of petrol tanks wink

Siro,

well it is cheap ... but...taken on an average salary comparison it's not that cheap. Used to be like 0,25 EUR/l about ....bah...4 years ago.

There are some stupid prices as well - for example i would say it is wiser to buy 98 in Fnland cause the price difference is few cents (a couple on %) - here it is 10%.

As far as i can remember you can buy 20l extra gasoline here....and a couple of litres of vodka

cheers,
T.

Privet & tere, tere,

Do Russians shop cars & petrol with U.S. dollars or what? Seems GTA is $45.000, which is about the same in euros. It's 61.500 euros in Finland and 95 octane petrol around 1.1. That's what I use for my V6 24, cause the manual says so. Is there any reason, why you should use 98?

Dodna,

Hello,

98 is always better to use.

You should try this :
1. fill your bella with 95 all the way up and see how far it goes (reset the trip meter).

2. Do the same thing with 98.

I've done this kind of "test" on almost all of the cars i've had - 98 gives more power and more km/l.
And when the price difference is what it is in Finaland (and should be here but it isnt) i would reccommend 98.

do the test - you see it.

T.

Hey, Jarmo!

USD is quite popular in Moscow, although we buy things like petrol, food, clothes etc. for the Russian rubles, it is normal to pay in USD for, say, a car, a house and things like that.

As for 98 octane petrol, I agree with T.P.
