Faulty Trip Computer Light

Here's one that I thought I'd throw out there.

The Red lighting on my 2002 156's Trip Computer is very weak.

Whilst the readout is fine once I start my car, within 5 minutes or less the words and numbers become dificult to read as the light is very, very weak.

I know Alfa's are legendary for their poor electronics.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

Change the bulb in the back of it or turn up the dash light dimmer.

Dimmer is at full brightness.

Must be the bulb.
