window cables - help needed urgently!!

Hi

have got a new motor to fix rear window problem, tested it and it turns, other half took old motor off and while doing so the whole cable assembly that the motor sits in came apart.

problem is we now can't get the cables back in and wound up to correct tension to refit and install new motor.

Anyone got any hints to fitting the cables? have learned several new swear words in last couple of hours and now fear the car is in danger of a severe kicking if it doesn't comply soon....
