Just changed the battery on my 156 2.4 JTD SW. The radio worked before and is now dead. 10A fuse in mounted on the radio is OK and an alternative radio works when plugged in. Could the battery change cause the problem? Looking at the radio, there does not look to be much on it that could be fixed. Any electro-tech types out there got any ideas? Overnight drives without radios are a pain!
Seems this was a fault on the Navigator unit waiting to happen. Recon quoted @ £1200, new replacement £2700. Solution - Tesco Sat Nav @ £90, Halfords CD @ £80 (if I can figure out the wiring), then Start thinking 159.......
