timing belt prices for ireland

hi how much should i be roughly paying for the timing belt to be done around ireland i got a quote for700 euro for the timing belt variter and waterpump, is it a good deal cant get a quote off the alfa dealer to see the high quote because i had war with them because they would not service my 2001 alfa because they said it was to old,so i rang alfa italy and complained which they must have took very seriously because the dealership only has 3 cars now at their dealership,

I can quote you prices in italy which will be similar: just timing belt with all pulleys, 500euros; variator 175euros; I also got the water pump done, it only costs 50euros though they have to flush and refill cooling system. Prices are inclusive of labour. Make sure they replace all pulleys when doing the timing belt. You'll be impressed with the performance afterwards, especially with a new noiseless variator!!! I spent all up nearly a grand including other bits and pieces, so price you have been quoted is ok. But get it done by an Alfa specialist.

around 500 - 600 for belt tensioner and variator.

Im getting this job done on Wednesday €700 in a Fiat garage.
