It should be.
Chris - budget for a new clutch as well, you'll probably need it soon. 17" wheels will make a world of difference to the cornering as well, a lot less flex in the sidewall

My mechanic has already mentioned a new clutch when (not if) my current one gives up, he said they do an uprated one ...
I've already been approved the purchase order (from the missus) for a set of 17" for my birthday in September (as long as other things don't come up in the mean time ...)

Re: My "new" 156 ...
Chris, how much do the Eibach Pro springs lower the car over standard? How much of a gap is there between the top of the tyres and the edge of the wheel arch? Is the gap the same front and back, or does the back of the car sit slightly higher than the front?

Re: My "new" 156 ...
Before/After pics ... it looks like the back has been lowered more than the front, but that might be due to the position on my drive (the drive is more slopy near the garage)
(Left Before ... hopefully that's obvious)

yes ok its double high wishbone

Yes, looking at the height of your arches (relative to the edge of the rims) with the original suspension, the back seems lower there too.
Let us know if the arches match when on level ground? The amount of lowering looks good though, not too extreme.

Just been out to the car park which is slightly more level (although pointing nose down slightly) ...
Front wheels 4cm from top of tyre to arches, rear 5cm ... just need to find some perfectly level ground

Re: My "new" 156 ...
I think Eibach pro kit lowers the car by 30mm after they have settled. Or 10mm lower than Sportpack.

Re: My "new" 156 ...
Yes 30mm from standard is what is says on the spec, I thought the sportspack was 25mm lower than standard?? (meaning that Eibach would lower it by 5mm ... not that I'm splitting hairs)

Re: My "new" 156 ...
Sportpack/Veloce can be anywhere between 15mm & 25mm lower than "std" depending on where you are in the tolerance range.
Remembering that there is also a tolerance range for the std height cars.
