Decat

im picking the Decat pipe from the guy i bought the Alfa off on friday,
the owner before him had it made in Italy. apparently its a cracking fit etc.
Anyways is it a big job to put back on?
ideally i want this done before Sunday

if you can get under the car or raise the car then its easy. on axle stands it can be a nightmare.

one day i will have a pit, mark my words!!

The early V6 will be easy to fit the DeCat, later V6 a little more complicated, but still ok.
When I'm changing mine I lift the left side of the car on axle stands.
Hardest thing will be removing your old rusty exhaust nuts & bolts.
Make sure you use new stainless steel nuts & bolts so they won't rust.

Anything else to replace? Gaskets/O rings etc?

Not usually.
If you are carefull you can reuse the gasket in front of the Cat.
and there and no "O" rings.

Cheers David. Had it sitting in my boot for ages and wanted to fit it this weekend but due to a cheese based incident involving my and a very sharp knife, will have to wait a while
