1.8 GT Blackline Performance Improvement

Hi, I would appreciate your advice on how I can improve the performance of my 1.8 GT Blackline. I have a budget of approx. £500.

Would you suggest a remap? If yes, could anyone recommend the best place to go in West Yorkshire & what benefit I am likely to see.

Thank you.

Re: 1.8 GT Blackline Performance Improvement

Hi,
I have read a number of questions similar to yours and i would say that the remap is the most common and easiest performance gain.

I do not know of places in your area but I notice Angel coming up time and time again and they seem to be able to service the whole country.

I have not had my car remapped (yet) I am just telling you what I have read on these forums to try and give you an answer.

Plenty of discussion on remapping in the various model forums. £500 will do your GT with change

Have a look at various threads and decide yourself. There are pros and cons to it.

Angel, Celtic and Red dot are the most discussed remappers.

Best of luck.
