Help Heavily damaged engine 147 2.0

Hi everyone!
Broken my engine (Alfa Romeo 147 2.0 selespeed). Heavily damaged crank liners crankshaft.
Also damaged head block cylinders.
I would ask you to the technical dimensions of the standard engine: the crankshaft, crank, pistons, head block cylinders. Nominal values.
Any information will help.
Thank you.

Re: Heavily damaged engine 147 2.0

Bearing surfaces look well worn/scored in some instances, with a lot of bad carbonaceous oil staining due to insufficient oil and filter changes? Best wishes for the overhaul and re-build friend.: Hi! and welcome, Sorry, slipped my mind.:

Oil changes, oil changes, filter replacements too, help to alleviate engine nasties, and are so cost effective imho.:

Oil-filled starvation block cylinders. In Russia should not follow the state of the car.
I bought a used car and got trouble.

I plan to produce new piston and crank from the forge aluminium, light and strong.
To do so requires nominal dimensions details.

Pistons are such a model.

Interesting project you have there, with some very interesting net results likely from the complex engineering you have in mind. Excellent stuff, not for the likes of myself though.:

I hope that is a typing error, don't try to make an aluminium crankshaft...

I wish you all the luck in the world, but imho you better buy an engine from a breaker and canibalize it.

No course.
forge new details of aluminum, will be made:
connection rod + pistons.
Mass will be one set of 750 grams. Standard weighs 1070 grams.
Flywheel and crankshaft do not want to facilitate. Increase reving speed of ICE but save the low RPM torque.
Planned to increase compression ratio 10.5:1 and put four throttle inlet.

Sounds great. You are obviously a very competent automotive engineer, who can look forward to a great achievement finally.

However, here in the UK plenty of spares are available, but there again I imagine you are after achieving self-construction performance? Keep us up dated on your project.:

Here's a related question, on the picture of those piston heads, what do the two little notches in the top cause/prevent/acheive?

These pistons of motorsport, done to reduce the weight and heat for orientation. Piston is expanding in various places him differently.

If you mean the to areas machined out of the top face of the piston. They are for valve clearance.
Those pistons look like they are from a 2-valve per cylinder engine.

Yes those pistons for 2 valves per cylinder.
I pistons will be different from these, of course.
