Hi Chris, Alfa 155's had bad electric window problems too. I was one of several managers who leased them, their party piece was when you pressed the button to close them, was they just kept rising until they flipped out and smashed on the road. As Hansen on BBC's MOTD would say "unbelievable"
But, as usual back then, Alfa finally sorted the problem - but unfortunately not before many thousands of faulty vehicles were already in the market place. If it was not for their fabulous sounding responsive engines, the AR marque could have died a death in the UK, just like Fiat's Lancia did.
