Rear suspension Is it easy ?

Had a puncture today chaps and after removing the wheel i noticed my rear shocks are leaking . Are they easy to replace on a sportwagon , has anyone got a guide and where is the cheapest place to buy them from ,

Its a 2002 2.0 selespeed veloce

Fairly easy, however the 156 likes to have the suspension seized on making life difficult.

Agreed....a good soaking in WD40 or equivalent a few days before attacking it is well worthwhile.....the long bottom bolt that runs through the bottom of the strut and the two lateral tie arms can be very hard to move. Whilst you have it apart - or before you start - also check the condition of the bushes in the lateral arms - its a lot easier to change them all in one hit rather than have to do the job again later......

Cheers guys , does the lining have to come out the boot to get at the top of the strut .






And is there any kind people out there in the west midlands who would come and give me a hand , i'll supply bacon sarnies and tea .
