I have just bought myself my 2nd 147 & have only had it for 3 weeks now. It has been fine but 2 days ago this light came on saying "motor control system failure". I have had a look on the forum but cant find anything about it. Does anyone know what this is all about. The guy i bought it off said that he had seen that a few months ago & took it to a garage who said it was to do with a sensor on the crankshaft or something? If anyone knows please let me know. Im so worried that it could be a fortune to fix.
look again, there are loads of mcs failure posts. could be anything, you need to get it on a diagnostic to find the exact fault. hopefully it's nothing too serious - good luck
