Re: ZENDER ALLOYS !! what tyres for my 156??

The standard size is 215/45x17 - this is for the standard Alfa 7x17" wheels with an offset of 40.5mm

The GTA uses 225/45x17 wheels on 7.5x17" wheels with 35mm offset.

So depends on the rim width and offset of your wheels

Re: ZENDER ALLOYS !! what tyres for my 156??

i have toyo proxes4 on my car (225/35/19). they offer good grip, but a little too noisy for my liking not bad, but not the best. the original bridgestone RE050 were considerably quieter, but also 'hard' in terms of ride comfort (must have stiff sidewalls).

study the tread pattern of the proxes4 closely and i suspect the lack of perfectly 'straight' central water channels contributes to noise issues. the sides of the channels are slight jagged. again, not bad in terms of noise, but i would like quieter. and otherwise a top value tyre.
