just got my 147

hya guys

was interested in a 147 for a while

came on here- read loads.

so i got it

WOW ! - its only a 147 1.6 2003 ... black with red leather but V V nice

what a drive

better than my BMW compact was.. truly.!

was a long journey
I live in Stoke and the car was in Bournemouth - so train journey of 4 hours then nice car journey home- mostly motoway- cant wait to get on some A roads..

however I had to drive home slowly as on way home the motor control system failure light came on!

oops

so to a local dealer tommorow to be plugged in.. its under AA warranty so should be Ok.. still took the shine of a bit.

goin sleep now to dream of A roads and that superb steering..

oh- great site- ta for the hints n tips and eveything I have learned on here- I am sure I will have more questions soon.

Dave

Re: just got my 147

Enjoy fella! ive got a 1.6 145.... the 1.6 alfa certainly shifts doesnt it!! I'm sure that if Alfa made a 1.0 litre engine it would still have a fair bit of grunt lol

Let us all know when you have figured out every setting on the dual climate control. You will merit an AO degree of excellence
(and tell us how it works)
