Help 156 1.9 JTD Loss of Power

I havea 2005 156 JTD 150 and am experiencing loss of power when pulling away until eventually turbo kicks is. Also when cruising on motorway as if I have lifted my foot off accelerator which is quite alarming! Car has only done 25,000 miles and generally has become very sluggish. Anyone any ideas ?:

Re: 156 1.9 JTD Loss of Power

Carolyn,

Try reposting your question in the 156 technical lounge as you're likely to get a better response there than in the introduction lounge.

Welcome to AO BTW.

Hi Carolyn welcome to AO. I've moved your question to the 156 lounge as TS has suggested, more help in here. Enjoy the site.

I'd go for a split hose too, very common symptoms for this problem.
