Alfa 146 seems to cut out
My Alfa 146 Junior is playing up again.
When the car is warmed up (5 to 10 minutes) and I am driving (obviously you may say), When I brake and press the clutch to the floor, while braking the revs drop to under a 1000RPM, usually down to 0, causing the battery light to flash and if I do not release the clutch in time I will stall.
All this depends upon time and as soon as I drop gear e.g change from 4th to second while braking I have to make sure I release the clutch sharp.
I have checked the Air filter, which looks fine and have even cleaned out the casing as well as the tubing just in case grease may be restricting airflow.
Secondly I have cleaned the various sensors located near the MAF metre with electrical cleaner (The exact name escapes me). Any ideas? Could I need a new MAF metre?
