Mave, it is possible that the compression reading could be 220 psi. This doesn't nessesarily equate to 15:1 compression ratio though, as when a gas is compressed it heats up, expands and creates more pressure.
Something to do with Boyles law or the Ideal gas law I believe.
I would think 220psi would be about correct, as a fiat coupe with 8:1 CR gives about 175psi when in good order.
