alfa hose clips

alfa hose clips look a bit of a mystery to me.

How do you get them off? Hacksaw?

Re: alfa hose clips

Managed to get the MAF trunking ones off, and re-install with a pair of pincers.: Tricky, but special pliers are available I think.:

Re: alfa hose clips

Try and get a very thin flat screwdriver in underneath the part of the clip where the little pegs grip on. Then try and rotate the screwdriver and unravel the clip. Got the hang of it after one or two of them, but I didn't re-use them, although there is a tool for opening them and closing them. A pack of jubilee clips is cheaper though

Re: alfa hose clips

I too got the MAF clips of with long nosed pliers, but replace them with jubilee clips, a much better option and less of a Chinese Puzzle.
